We've planned a week of festivities to honor the connections we have made and the publication of our global eBook! We hope you’ll be able to engage in as many of the following activities as possible to wrap up and celebrate our wonderful project.
Available now: The Final Flipgrid!
We have created a final Flipgrid for all cohorts to reflect together on the theme of What We Learned Here! We invite each school to post one simple video response to answer this question: How did you feel about this project, and what did you learn? Include the whole class if you wish, or ask a couple representatives to speak on the school’s behalf, but please don’t feel the need to create an edited production! We just want to collect a few closing thoughts from students. |
Wednesday: Publication Day and Final Padlet
We’ve been building up to this day for weeks! Beginning at 12 p.m. Central Standard Time, our If You Learned Here global eBook will be available for the world to download and enjoy. Click here for a countdown and the download link. Our final Padlet will open on Wednesday as well. On this Padlet, we invite you to post pictures of students, teachers, or community members reading our book! Please include a simple caption that tells the world your location (school and country) and, if you wish, a note about the book. Encourage others in your community or teacher network to download the book too! The Padlet will be open (but moderated) for contributions from all readers. |
Friday: Twitter Chat!
Join our 24-hour Twitter chat! Tweet about the project with your students -- thoughts, learning, observations, and take-aways -- and include the hashtag #ifyoulearnedhere. Of course you can tweet any time, but we encourage you to participate during your school day on Friday. Even if you aren’t on Twitter, you can use this link to see the contributions of others. |
Saturday: Wrap Party for teachers via Google Hangouts On Air
Please join us at 5 p.m. Central Standard Time for an online wrap party! Details to come; mark your calendar. If you can't join the live hangout, we will post the archived recording on this site.
